This is my first non-permanent RAM mount and it did not disappoint. The suction cup holds very well, even for long periods or with lots of bouncing around.

I was a little skeptical about the concept of a suction cup mount, but after a week-long trip in the Rockies bouncing down many a rough road, with temperatures from the 20s to the 90s, this thing and its GPS were still firmly stuck on the windshield. A strong performer, like all the other RAM stuff I've had to buy to mount a GPS in a truck or on three different motorcycles.

When my husband and I moved into our house last year, we were so excited to have a walk in closet... but I really wanted some kind of shelving in there, too. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I decided to buy two of these Whitney Design shelves.

They arrived promptly and in perfect condition. I attached them to an existing wood dowel bar in closet. This shelf uses a huge piece of velcro to attach itself to a bar, and it has held up very nicely!

I'm currently using it for my husband's pants, jeans and shorts as well as my jeans, yoga pants and sweat pants. There's quite a bit of weight on both of them and neither has fallen or folded. They look perfect.

I would buy this product again and highly recommend it.

I wanted to organize my utility closet which already had a clothes bar in it. These both work very well to organize my dusters, cleaning clothes, and vacuum cleaner nozzles. I also purchased wall mounted mop and broom holders at Amazon. It is wonderful and so time consuming to have this closet organized. The Canvas is of good quality and I will probably never have to replace these for this particular use. These don't have to be used for shoes and sweaters. There are so many other organizing possibilities!

Got this for my mom as a gift. The regular fold up chairs have become hard for her to get out of due to knee and back issues. The locking feature provides great stability. The chair isn't as low as traditional chairs, which makes it easier to get out of. Very stable, even with my 240 + lb frame in it.

A chair is no simple thing for a designer-- it is a major undertaking, as the piece must function, look good, be comfortable and ergonomic (I hate that word...but...)and speak for itself at first glance. This seat does all the above, is light, easilly portable--- an excellent design, great price-- a home-run. I am a designer myself, so I tip my cap at whoever did this one-- very good job. Beyond all that, the chair is very well made and has endured a month of rain, etc outside looking as new as the day it arrived.

I purchased the Goodbyn for my son, who's 8. We try our best to reduce the amount of garbage we create and to recycle as much as possible. This was the reason for our purchase. I was excited about eliminating plastic baggies and juice boxes, but the Goodbyn hasn't entirely lived up to my expectations. The drink container enclosed pops open a little easier than I think it should which leads to a leaky mess. The bin itself won't keep "wet" foods separated well (like mandarin oranges, for example) which leads to another messy scenario. Additionally, the sections are really rather large for just lunch food. I can fit a whole bag of store bought baby carrots into the one bottom square section! Lastly, the Goodbyn needs washed after use and leaks and the stickers don't hold up well with the washings. I'm still using it in hopes that we'll get used to the quirks and continue to do a small part to clean up the environment, but overall, it's kind of a hassle. A few Gladware containers in a lunchbox would have served the same purpose for cheaper.

This talking digital thermometer is so much fun to use. If you are not interested in hearing "It's time to baste", or "your food will be ready in..." or several other audio responses throughout the cooking time, you can turn off the voice mode. The unit itself shows you the internal temperature of the meat you are cooking,and anticipates how long it will take to cook. For issues of safety cooking pork and poultry, it always selects well done for you. For beef, you decide how you want to cook it depending on your tastes. My daughter-in-law was the first to use it in her oven, my son uses it when he is grilling and my newest DIL received one as a gift this Christmas from me.

The probe goes into the meat, and the cord from the probe to the unit stays partly in the oven after the oven door is closed. I thought it would melt, but it was just fine. However, my son does not close the grill cover on it. He just uses it to poke the meat and check the temperature. The only thing I would recommend is that when your food is "done", move the probe to another spot to recheck the temperature. In the beginning, you have to learn where to place the probe to get the best temp reading.Also I do not like the "stand" it has, so I just place it flat on the countertop next to the stove.

I've used this for about a year, both in the oven and BBQ. The alert voice is fun and reasonably loud. I can't hear it outside if I'm inside, but indoors it can be easily heard. There's a nice option to change from "alert voice" to "alert beep" if you get tired of "10 MINUTES UNTIL READY".

There are a couple of problems with it:
First, if you use it in a BBQ, the probe is easily damaged if it is exposed to direct flames. Be careful to place the cord from the probe over a part of the grill that will not flare up. Replacement probes are available from Maverick (you can get 2 for $20 with shipping).

Next, the probe design allows ambient heat to affect the temperature reading. If too much of the probe is exposed outside of the food, the surrounding air will raise the reported temperature by 10-20 degrees. Insert the probe as deep as possible.

Back when I bought this, the probe had a faulty design. The point where the probe attaches to the cord was weak. Maverick has since changed the design to a more robust attachment. So far, none of my probes have broken at that point, although I have toasted 3 of them due to direct flame.

Overall, I like it and use it several times a week.

This was a gift for my girlfriend's daughter's baptism. I had a hard time finding an original and appropriate baptism gift. This definitely fit the bill and was a big hit. My name is Gil. I am a part of an electrical-mechanical company that has been in business for 36 years. We know what it means to deliver on promises; back up warranties; solve problems and 'be there if there is a problem' for the benefit and security of our customers.

In today's high-tech, fast-paced world it is difficult to find the 'good old-fashioned customer caring' that should come with making every purchase. We remember when that was the standard and the norm; not the exception.

Every now and again you find a merchant--especially those on the internet who do not have a face or a physical address that they ever disclose--who has the same commitment to customer care. We found such a one with this merchant.

We ordered his disk. It arrived on time but empty. The file was empty and/or corrupted. I thought to myself, the price of the product almost inhibits you from attempting to do anything about returning it. The cost of my time, plus return shipping and any effort to 'fight a merchant' made me almost want to throw the disk away and say; "It is what it is! Take the loss and forget it!"

Then I said; "I will just email and tell him what happened. Then I will see what transpires." To my surprise I got back a quick response. The merchant refunded all of my money (including shipping)and sent me a new disk totally at his expense.

I was amazed and very happy! I know that this may not happen every time he makes a mistake with a product, but his reasoning was what impressed me the most. He said: "I do this every day. I am sorry for this mistake. I will correct it. For me this is more than a business, I have a passion for the Land Rovers that I sell products for. Don't Worry!"

I think that it is great when a merchant's products and services are his passion and that passion is expressed in the way that they treat their customers. Pride in their product and their company expresses itself in pride in the way they treat their customers! Hooray!!!!

It was a pleasure to do business with him. I felt a warmth within and I hope that he prospers and gives all of his customers the same wonderful experience. May my comments become an expectation for every future customer and a lifelong standard for this merchant to live up to!

We recently added a 99 Land Rover Discovery to the home fleet, as car for my oldest son to use, as well as work on.

I got this guide to help he and his friends add or take apart things the right way, and not have a couple of screws or other items left over, wondering where they would go.

As soon as we got it, he opened it up to understand the radio wiring connections. He wanted to put in a new head unit with an audio input. The documents where clearly ordered in PDF format. We could print either the entire chapter or the pages that we needed to use.

He is very anxious to dive into this CD to learn about his 'new' car.
